Amusement Park Week 2

This week’s homework took more time than I thought. I wasted a whole day connecting oculus and my computer in the first step. At first, I downloaded the wrong computer program, resulting in the VR preview in unreal always being gray. I finally solved this problem. I found that my computer couldn’t connect with oculus. I tried various methods, including airlink. Later, I found that my line may not be the official line, so it can’t be connected. But I searched the Internet and found that not everyone uses the official line to connect. This problem makes me very uncomfortable.

I found a scene of an amusement park. In this scene, I designed some interactions, including light change, object rotation, fragmentation and so on. Because I can’t connect, I can only show it in the normal mode first.

I like its painting style very much. I never thought of seeing paintings like watercolor in the virtual world. It’s not like a movie, but it gives me a good immersion experience. In fact, my thesis also wants to make a 3D scene in 2D style, so it also gives me a good inspiration.
